Bayswater South Primary School

Music at Bayswater South Primary School is taken by Mrs. Anne Naismith. Each grade has a class music lesson weekly which involves singing, dancing, playing instruments, creating and performing.
Children from Grades 3 to 6 learn the recorder which assists them with the fundamentals of music reading.
To further the opportunities in music, instrumental lessons in keyboard/piano, guitar and flute are also offered to children through private instrumental teachers.

School Choir

1998 saw the formation of a school choir, drawn from children in grades 3 - 6. This has gone from strength to strength, regularly winning eisteddfods and performing for businesses and the local community.

Choir Tee-Shirts are available from school for $8.00.  If your  child requires a tee-shirt please send correct money in an envelope to your child's class teacher.

 School Production

The School holds a production every 2 years. The whole school is involved with all children having a part. Instrumental groups, the choir and German items are particular features.
